Diploma Supplement has been mandatory since 1 January 2003 for all state higher education institutions. Since 1 July 2007 the Diploma Supplement is also mandatory for the third cycle degrees. The Diploma Supplement is automatically issued in English.
The Swedish template follows the template recommended by the UNESCO/Council of Europe/European Commission.
